It’s Meet a Mom Monday!! That’s right, we are kicking off the Meet a Mom series again! If you’re new to this space, the Meet a Mom series features local Moms, typically on Mondays. I’m looking forward to introducing you to the many Mama-gems in our area.
We are excited to kick off the series with Jasmine Camble, the face behind One Fly Mama and The Party Catalog! I’ve been following her on IG, @oneflymama, for a while now and have loved her content from the moment I came across her page. She has truly grown her business so quickly, and was able to turn in her 9-5 job, for her passion! If you don’t already follow her social media pages and blog – run and do it now! Trust me, she is so incredibly talented, and creative – she has a truly unique way of sprinkling magic to everything she does. Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have lived in the Houston, TX area for 18 years.
How many children do you have and what are their ages?
I have 3 children. Their ages are 14, 4, 5.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
That I am really a homebody. Even though my profession calls for me to be out in front in the public’s eye often.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
God. Because somedays I just don’t know how I manage it all. His “super” matched with my “natural” has gotten me through some of the highest of highs and lowest of lows.
Favorite things to do with your kids around town?
We love hanging out at Miller Outdoor Theater. It’s such a cool venue. My youngest two have recently learned how to skate, so we’re always finding new skating rinks around town too.
Favorite local things to do in the Cypress area?
Definitely hanging out at The Boardwalk. We’re there every other weekend if not every weekend for something…even if it’s for a quick Crumbl Cookies or Kilwins run.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
In the span of 18 years residing in the Houston area, I’ve spent 15 of those years deeply rooted in the vibrant Cypress, TX community. Throughout this time, my family and I have found immense enrichment through various channels: the outstanding local schools, the invaluable support networks, the camaraderie with fellow business owners, and the establishment of a new church campus in our midst just 7 months ago. These facets of community life have significantly shaped both my personal and professional growth, leaving an indelible mark on our journey.
