For today’s Saturday Business Feature I would like to give a very special shout out to all the amazing local companies that rallied together and made the Cypress Moms Network’s 1st Moms Night Out a memorable and special night. The goal for the event was to give the Moms in our area a fun night to enjoy, get pampered, and mingle with other moms in our community. The business owners who stepped up to the plate, really poured their heart out into making it special for all who attended. I can’t even begin to explain the amount of gratitude and respect I have for these amazing people – getting to know them through the process and seeing them really shine showcasing their amazing work was incredible. You amazing businesses are rocking it out there and I am so grateful that you shared some of your magic with us that evening for our first local event. You will forever hold a special place in my heart!
To start off we had the amazing venue, Board & Brush Cypress who not only opened their doors to us but also treated the first 50 moms in attendance to beautiful holiday artwork they could take home. I could not have picked a more perfect spot for this event, Mamas. It allowed the creativity to flow, a keepsake to take home but the layout was just perfect. It is a BYOB venue and who doesn’t love that ;). The layout really allowed for our imaginations to make the vision for the Holiday Moms Night Out event into a reality.

Beauty Glam Squad
Tiffanies’ Spa & Beauty Bar – Moms don’t always have time to get out and get a mani/pedi. It is sometimes last on some Mom’s laundry list of what they need to get done in a week. But the self-care and relaxation that comes from getting one is really worthwhile. Tiffany brought a traveling spa and decor to make the moms feel like they were truly at her salon. The Moms were able to get a hand massage as well as a polish change in beautiful holiday colors. I found out that Tiffany will become a Mom in just a few months – congrats and thank you!
Gloss Salon: Lisa and Priscilla recently opened up Gloss Salon, they are full of energy and made all the Moms look so glam. They brought the salon experience to Board & Brush – the moms got their hair curled, straightened – everyone who got to do their hair looked gorgeous and felt so beautiful.
JN @ CO makeup artistry – I was so excited to find Jeanie, she has a studio spot at the Boardwalk and she did my makeup the afternoon of the event and graciously came to do the makeup for the Moms at the event! She applied lashes on me prior to the doors opening and I felt so good with them on! I usually do simple make up and when I lived in CT I would see a makeup artist to really amp up my look before a wedding or any special event, sometimes even for my bday. I hadn’t found anyone since moving moving here and was so happy to meet Jeanie. She is so sweet and does a great job! My makeup stayed on all night, and I really didn’t want to take it off at the end of the night!

These women really pulled together and worked so well as a team to convert the studio into a welcoming Holiday party complete with a fun backdrop and a beautiful balloon wall art.
Ma Petite Alice – this sweet local Mama brought the decor and backdrop which we all posed for pics with during the event. She had tasteful flower decor that she used to fill the event space.
Luxe Balloons Houston – this husband and wife duo really outdid themselves with the balloon arch and also added balloons to the photo backdrop. They were so sweet and worked so quickly!!

She really outdid herself with not only capturing the night but also getting the gallery completed so quickly! When hosting an event it is so key to make sure you are fully prepared to take on whatever pops up prior and to stay a while at the end to disassemble and clean-up. The businesses that came were so professional, they fully took care of setting up their pieces and even helped chip in to make sure that everything else was set when the event doors opened. Some amazing businesses and Mama friends also stayed to help and clean at the end. I can’t even tell you how happy and filled my heart felt with the true teamwork that took place and feel so grateful that everyone rallied together the way they did. These businesses are true gems and completely remarkable!
